Disability Lesotho e-newsletter
LNFOD compiles a monthly e-newsletter entitled Disability Lesotho which is aimed at individuals and organisations interested in the disability sector of Lesotho. This e-newsletter provides a platform for stakeholders to share news, views, best practices and resources and includes job advertisements, expressions of interest in volunteering, upcoming events and other practical items.
If you would like to make a submission to the next edition of Disability Lesotho, please send your information/images to: [email protected] Please use the same email if you'd like to be included on the mailing list. Limited hard copies of the e-newsletter are available upon request from the LNFOD office.

The Immediate Success for the New Project
On 16 March, this project was introduced in Tšana-talana Community Council in the district of Mafeteng. The total of thirteen community councillors representing all thirteen electoral Divisions (ED) in Tšana-talana community council were in attendance. The community councillors welcomed the project beyond the expectation of LNFOD. Speaking on behalf of the councillors Mr. Teke Seeiso shared that this project came to their council at the opportune time when the council had just drafted its annual plan. He shared that people with disability have never been included in the previous nor are they included in the current annual plan of the council. Mr. Seeiso further mentioned that they, community councillors were not aware of the fact that people with disability comparatively benefit minimally from the work of the council living in poorest condition of life as a result.
